Its all about connections. We humans thrive on relationships, even if we don’t admit or realize it, sometimes. We need people to know us, understand us, appreciate where we come from, as were are, support in what we need and have our back when time comes!

The most gratifying part of my profession, my vocation is, when I hear people I interact with, whether in one on one sessions, or in group trainings, tell me where I strike a chord with them, how they plan to practice forward what they gathered that day, and how they felt about the insights they experienced. It fills my heart with gratitude and joy to have affected someone positively.

The connect we make with each other across the room when we talk the ‘common language’, the language of Human feelings and emotions, of fears and doubts, of fun and happiness, of experiences and legacies, is simply amazing. The smiles, nods, sighs and laughs say it all, that yes, we come from different backgrounds and cultures, belong to different age groups or communities, but we do connect at a Human level. Our behaviors and attitudes differ, vastly sometimes, but there IS a connection. We all look around to connect with someone, someone who ‘understands’ the way we are!

I have had sceptics in the room, pessimists and doubters, who are conditioned to starting the day with ‘everything is an illusion, what can anybody do anything for me…’ demeanor ! 😊 Recognizable! At the end of the day, when they come to me and tell me that there was a take away for them, and I see their demeanor change to involvement from dispassion, through the day, I see that as a win and go home with a heart filled with pride and satisfaction! After all, we are Humans looking for more connects.

It is a beautiful world out there which is beautiful only when we can share the joy with fellow Human beings. Let us try and find more reasons to connect than those which divide us and destroy peace and harmony!
